Step into a dynamic, onsite contract role serving students as a dedicated Special Education Teacher! This opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through June 5, 2026, offering the chance to make a powerful impact for the remainder of this school year and beyond. With six full-time openings (37.5 hours/week), youll become an essential part of a collaborative, student-centered team.

Openings include

• Two Elementary Developmental classrooms (15 students per class, 6 assistants each; supporting behavioral, ASD, and communication needs)
• One Elementary Behavior classroom (Grades 3-5; 16 students, 5 assistants)
• One Middle School Resource position (40 students, 2 shared assistants)
• One Elementary Resource position spanning two nearby sites (35 students, 1 assistant per building)
• One Middle School Behavior classroom (15 students, 5 assistants)

What youll bring:

• Active Special Education (SPED) certification/license valid in Oregon
• Recent experience working in special education settings
• Genuine passion for fostering growth among students with diverse learning needs
• Commitment to working onsite for the entirety of the contract

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to meet IEP goals across a variety of settings
• Collaborate with instructional assistants, related service providers, and families to support student growth
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with educational standards and requirements
• Utilize innovative classroom management skills to support positive student behaviors
• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment where all students can succeed
