A school in Parachute, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their team on a full-time contract basis. Job Details:
- Full-time contract position
- 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Caseload of approximately 25 students, with paraprofessional support provided in every classroom
- Student age group dependent on candidate experience and school needs
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to special education students
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, teachers, and families to create an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and school policies
