Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Special Education Teacher supporting diverse learners in an onsite, full-time role for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple contract positions are available, with assignments tailored to your expertise and passion from K-12 caseloads, to middle school life skills programs, developmental classrooms, and intensive behavioral support centers.
Youll collaborate closely with instructional assistants (IAs) and specialized teams, fostering growth and development in students with unique learning needs. Whether guiding non-verbal elementary learners or leading behavioral intervention for upper grade students, your work will have a meaningful, long-lasting impact.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Recent experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Background working with students across a range of disabilities, including behavioral, developmental, and academic
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with colleagues and families
- Must provide contact info for your three most recent supervisor references (Name, Title/School, and Email) required for consideration
- Comfortable working onsite with flexibility across K-12 environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop differentiated lesson plans aligned with each students learning goals
- Lead instruction in classrooms with supportive instructional assistants
- Collect and document data to analyze student progress and adjust instruction
- Create positive, inclusive classroom communities that celebrate achievement
- Serve as an advocate and resource for families navigating special education services
