This meaningful, full-time opportunity runs onsite through June 5, 2026, and is perfectly suited for dedicated educators ready to cultivate growth, inclusion, and academic achievement for every student.
Multiple openings offer a range of focus areas and age groups, including:
- Elementary Developmental classrooms (2 roles) serving students with behavioral, ASD, and communication needs, with robust classroom assistant support.
- Elementary Behavior classroom (Grades 35), supported by a skilled team of assistants.
- Middle School Resource program for a diverse group of learners, collaborating with fellow resource specialists.
- Elementary Resource across two close-proximity sites, providing flexible, supportive instruction.
- Middle School Behavior program focused on positive behavioral supports in a team environment.
Key qualifications and experience:
- A current, valid Special Education teaching certification/license for Oregon.
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with disabilities and a variety of learning needs.
- Skill in adapting instruction to individual student goals and collaborating effectively with assistants, therapists, and families.
- A commitment to positive behavioral support, inclusion, and creative problem solving.
- Availability to start as soon as possible and work onsite full-time (37.5 hours/week) through the contract period.
- Must be able to provide reference contact information for your most recent supervisor.
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based instruction tailored for each learner.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with staff and families to support student progress.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Track and report student growth in accordance with state and federal standards.
