Qualifications and Skills Sought:

• Active teaching license with appropriate Special Education endorsement for the state of Minnesota
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)

• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation processes
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Dedication to positive behavioral supports and differentiated instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to support student learning and progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure students receive high-quality, integrated support
• Assess student abilities, monitor progress, and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
