Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) for Minnesota
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field
- Previous experience working with K-5 students, especially in mild-moderate settings
- Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging instruction tailored to K-5 students with mild to moderate exceptionalities
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and multi-disciplinary teams
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured environment
- Track and report student progress; maintain accurate documentation
