Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active Minnesota special education teaching license required
- Experience with K-12 students, including those in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and accessible learning environments
- Adaptable, organized, and ready to respond to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and differentiate instruction to support varying learning styles and abilities
- Develop and maintain accurate IEPs and progress reports, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, specialists, and families to support student success
- Provide direct academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions as needed
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom climate that empowers students to meet their goals
