A Special Education Teacher is needed for a full-time contract position, available immediately through June 10, 2027. This role offers a unique opportunity to support middle school students through a co-teaching model in ASD Math classes. Youll collaborate closely with general education teachers and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education certification; Tier 3 or 4 preferred
• Previous experience working with middle school students, particularly in special education settings
• Strong understanding of ASD best practices and Math instructional strategies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for fostering growth and success for students with special needs
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual learning plans

Responsibilities:

• Co-teach ASD Math alongside general education staff, providing individualized support
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on students IEPs
• Monitor student progress and update educational programs as necessary
• Partner with families, related service providers, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Create a safe, encouraging, and structured classroom environment
