This full-time, contract opportunity offers a chance to support students with mild to moderate needs from August 2026 through June 2027, empowering young learners to achieve their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (required)
• Experience supporting K-5 students with mild to moderate learning differences
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and fellow educators
• Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction and support strategies for students in accordance with IEP goals
• Utilize evidence-based instructional methods and materials to address diverse learning needs
• Cultivate a nurturing, safe setting that encourages student growth and social-emotional development
• Track student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to ensure cohesive support
