Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education License (SPED)
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Comfortable adapting teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs
  • Dedication to creating a positive, patient, and safe classroom space
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning goals
  • Adapt curriculum and classroom strategies to support students diverse abilities
  • Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that encourages engagement
  • Collaborate with instructional staff, service providers, and families to maximize student success
  • Conduct assessments and maintain ongoing documentation of progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $39.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
