This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Special Education Teachers interested in serving elementary, middle, or high school students. You'll play an essential role supporting a manageable caseload, working alongside dedicated educational professionals.
Candidates must hold an active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education and have at least one year of relevant teaching experience. Opportunities are available for educators who thrive on making a real difference in students' academic and personal growth.
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Special Education teaching license (required)
- Minimum of 1 year experience teaching special education
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Adaptable to teaching elementary, middle, or high school students
- Strong skills building relationships with students, families, and team members
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 8 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction tailored to students unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and adhere to compliance guidelines
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
