Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting 4th-grade students at an elementary school near Minneapolis, MN. You will have the unique chance to work closely with a small caseloadcurrently 5-7 studentswith occasional opportunities to support academic groups from other elementary grades based on emerging needs.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid MN SPED license required
• Experience teaching in a special education setting, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Proactive problem-solver with adaptability to support diverse learning styles
• Commitment to individualized instruction and student growth

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction to 4th-grade students with special education needs, adapting to other elementary grades as needed
• Collaborate with a supportive team of educators and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community that encourages student independence and self-advocacy
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with families
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as provided
