Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Special Education Teaching certification appropriate for Massachusetts requirements

• Strong skills in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Proficiency in adapting curricula and instructional techniques to accommodate various disabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs
• Develop and maintain IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Implement assessments and track progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related services staff, and parents to support student success
• Advocate for student needs within the school setting
