What youll bring:

  • Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification.
  • Previous experience teaching or supporting students in special education is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, implementing, and adapting curriculum for K-12 students with varying abilities and needs.
  • Developing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, and support staff.
  • Providing direct instruction, classroom management, and positive behavior support.
  • Utilizing data and observation to assess progress, adjust approaches, and document student growth.
  • Facilitating communication between classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster each students success.
