An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in an onsite school setting in Middletown, NY. This full-time contract position is focused on providing individualized educational support to meet the unique needs of students in a special education classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students specific needs
- Deliver instruction and interventions that promote academic and social growth
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New York State Special Education Teaching License is required
