With a consistent 35-hour workweek at a single campus location, youll be able to build strong connections with your students and team.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida ESE certification
- General Education certification in K-6 or PK-3
- Proven experience leading a self-contained ESE classroom
- Solid understanding of various learning levels and exceptionalities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Teach and support a self-contained classroom of elementary-aged students with exceptional student education needs
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to diverse abilities
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to foster student success
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where each childs potential can shine
