This contract opportunity offers a stable schedule at a single elementary-focused location within a welcoming and collaborative school in the North West region. What were looking for:

• Current and active Florida ESE certification
• K-6 or PK-3 general education certification required
• Prior experience in a self-contained classroom setting
• Familiarity with varying learning levels and a range of exceptionalities
• Commitment to following all credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting (previous prints via the AHCA Clearinghouse may be verified)
• Comfortable with an internal eligibility interview and a virtual prescreen interview

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a self-contained classroom, providing differentiated instruction to elementary students with exceptional needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff
• Foster an inclusive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Collaborate with a team of passionate educators and support staff
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students unique learning styles and developmental needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and communication with parents, therapists, and administrators
