What were looking for:

  • Active Florida ESE certification
  • Valid K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification
  • Proven experience leading a self-contained classroom
  • Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and exceptionalities
  • Ability to create a structured, supportive, and engaging environment
  • Willingness to complete state-mandated fingerprinting; candidates with prior prints in the AHCA Clearinghouse may undergo a verification process
  • Availability for an internal eligibility interview and a virtual prescreen interview prior to offer

What youll do:

  • Lead a self-contained ESE classroom, primarily at the elementary level
  • Manage a classroom of students with varying learning levels and exceptionalities
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that meet students academic and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with support staff, specialists, and families to ensure holistic student success
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
  • Communicate regularly with colleagues and parents to foster progress and engagement
