Make an impact in the lives of young learners as a Special Education Pre-K Teacher in a vibrant setting near Miami, FL. This full-time, direct hire position offers a unique opportunity to nurture the academic and social development of exceptional students, supporting them in accordance with their Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) throughout the full school year.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver engaging instruction that accommodates students unique strengths, interests, and cultural backgrounds.
• Incorporate multiple teaching strategies to address different learning styles and temperaments.
• Serve as an advocate and support network for students and their families.
• Provide backup support to the Director as needed, contributing to a positive school environment.
• Regularly assess progress and collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to ensure best practices.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and communication with parents and team members.

Desired background:

• Holds, or is eligible for, a Professional Educators Certificate in Primary/Elementary Education or ESE.
• Bachelors degree in education, early childhood, special education, or a closely related field.
• Reading Endorsement and ESOL Endorsement, or willingness to enroll and complete these requirements.
• Completion of Department of Children & Family Child Care Training.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based research.
