This full-time Special Education Teacher position in Miami, FL, focuses on instructing pre-kindergarten exceptional students by delivering academic and social skills development tailored to each students Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). The role involves recognizing diverse learning styles, cultural backgrounds, and individual needs of students while ensuring a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction based on students IEPs, fostering academic growth and social development.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
• Support the schools administration by serving as backup to the Director when necessary.
• Collaborate with staff and families to promote student success.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress effectively.

Qualifications:

• Possession or eligibility for a Professional Educators Certificate in Primary/Elementary Education with a specialization in Exceptional Student Education (ESE).
• Bachelors degree in education, early childhood, special education, or a related field.
• Required endorsements: Reading and ESOL; candidates without endorsements must enroll in certification programs.
• Completion of Department of Children & Family Child Care Training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet research.

Location: Miami, FL
Schedule: Full school year, 40 hours per week
