A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support diverse learners across multiple grade levels in Methuen, MA. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) license required
- Experience working with students in special education settings preferred
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
Position Details:
- Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Caseload includes class sizes that vary by assignment
- Multiple openings covering a range of roles including high school inclusion teacher, special education roles within sub-separate autism programs, and resource room teachers for lower school and general resource rooms
- Travel position with assignments centered in the Methuen area
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver instruction and support in inclusive and specialized classroom settings
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adjust instruction
