Key Qualifications:

• Valid Moderate to Severe Special Education Teaching License
• Experience working with K-8 students in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective instructional plans tailored to individual student needs
• Modify curriculum to ensure accessibility and progress for students with varying abilities
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to coordinate support and interventions
• Assess students regularly and use data to inform instruction and IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders
• Foster a positive, encouraging classroom culture where all students can thrive
