Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in Arizona! Multiple full-time contract opportunities are available for dedicated professionals eager to enrich the lives of elementary-aged students. Positions are open at two school sitesone in Buckeye (serving elementary students in both self-contained and push-in/pull-out settings) and another in Phoenix (elementary resource, with a blend of push-in and pull-out support).

Youll collaborate with a team committed to fostering inclusive, nurturing learning environments, while implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing targeted instruction designed for each students needs. These assignments start as soon as possible and run through the end of the school year.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Certification for the assigned grade levels
• Generalist certification for elementary grades K-5
• Experience with elementary-aged students, particularly in resource and/or self-contained settings
• Flexibility to work collaboratively across diverse instructional models and caseloads
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to develop and modify IEPs and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Enthusiasm for supporting students with varying needs and backgrounds

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction in accordance with students IEP goals
• Provide support in self-contained, push-in, and pull-out settings
• Track and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and regular communication with families and staff
• Adapt instructional materials to accommodate student learning styles
• Engage with colleagues to ensure consistent and effective supports for each student
• Cultivate an inclusive, supportive classroom culture
