If you're a certified Special Education teacher seeking a meaningful contract role, there are multiple opportunities available for the upcoming school year near Mesa, AZ. These positions serve various high schools within a 30-minute commute, including Linda Abril, Academies at South, Alhambra, BioScience, Bostrom, Betty FairFax, and additional southern locations.

Qualified educators should bring a passion for supporting diverse learners and be ready to make a difference across various caseloads. Specialized experience with emotional disabilities, prosocial, and self-regulatory skills is highly valued.

Key Qualifications:

• Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License required
• Current K-12 Special Education Certificate and valid IVP Fingerprint Card
• Certification in CBT and/or STRIVE programs
• Experience with students across a range of eligibility areas, including those identified as at-risk, English language learners, and students with exceptionalities
• Ability and willingness to complete CIE requirements (July 21-24) and participate in full staff return (July 27 May 21, 2027)
• Completion of Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training or commitment to staff development
• Strong understanding of special education documentation meeting federal, state, and district guidelines

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support for Inclusion/SUCCESS (25 positions), Practical (16), CBT (14), and STRIVE (6-8) program caseloads
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment respectful of students backgrounds and needs
• Implement and document individualized education plans and related services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student growth and well-being
• Maintain compliance with special education regulations and best practices
