A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Meriden, CT, with a focus on supporting students in specialized autism and resource room settings. This travel position involves managing two caseloads, providing individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in an autism-focused classroom and a resource room setting.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with students' needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers, therapists, and families.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to promote academic and social growth.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with students with autism and resource room caseloads preferred.
• Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and differentiated instruction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.

Location and Schedule:
