Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification is required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, ideally within special education settings

• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working well with colleagues, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students in grades K-3, tailoring lessons to diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress and adapt strategies to help each child achieve their goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports and IEP updates
• Foster a classroom culture that promotes respect, engagement, and confidence in all learners
• Stay current with best practices and compliance measures in special education
