This role is ideal for a dedicated School-Based Special Education Teacher to support students in grades K-3 within a school setting located in Cleveland, Ohio. The position is a contract role requiring full-time commitment, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week across 5 weekdays.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Ohio Special Education (SPED) Teaching Certification
- Experience working with young learners in early childhood education settings
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education regulations
- Ability to deliver tailored instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs in K-3
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to enhance learning outcomes
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain proper documentation and communicate regularly with families and school administrators
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence
