Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification required
• Experience with early elementary age groups (K-3) preferred
• Strong foundational knowledge of IEP development and special education law
• Ability to adapt instruction and classroom management to a variety of learning needs
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, administrators, and support staff
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of K-3 learners with disabilities
• Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation
• Partner closely with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure seamless inclusion
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth
• Engage regularly with families to communicate progress and address concerns
• Contribute to data-driven decision making through progress monitoring and assessments

This position covers a full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a welcoming school community dedicated to empowering every student.
