Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license required
  • Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with high school caseloads
  • Strong familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to create and adapt instructional materials to support diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full-time high school caseload, ensuring students receive appropriate services and accommodations
  • Develop, review, and update IEPs according to state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to coordinate support and foster student growth
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
