Youll guide a small caseload of seven students in kindergarten and first grade, working side-by-side with two paraprofessionals and enjoying robust support from both building administration and the special education team.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Michigan teaching certification in Special Education with Autism Spectrum Disorder endorsement
- Experience or passion for working with elementary-aged children with ASD
- Commitment to an on-site, full-time schedule
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to create and implement effective, individualized education plans
