Requirements and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification (must hold active PA licensure)
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs across K-12 settings
• Ability to develop and implement differentiated instruction and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Flexible attitude to accommodate various caseload assignments as determined by the district
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs based on IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum content and classroom activities to individual student abilities and needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, families, and district staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Deliver instruction using evidence-based practices for students with disabilities
• Create a positive, engaging, and safe classroom atmosphere
