What you bring:

• Current certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience working with students who have diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Solid communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Familiarity with classroom technology and adaptive tools
• Strong organization skills and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Key responsibilities:

• Design differentiated lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet students IEP goals
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching approaches as needed
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Implement behavioral interventions and positive support strategies
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of student performance and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for student success
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
