A Special Education Teacher is needed to support K-12 students in Texas. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days, focusing on delivering tailored educational programs to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with K-12 age groups in special education settings
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and specialized instructional strategies
Location: Texas (specific assignments in Mc Gregor area)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized instructional plans that meet the educational and developmental needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote inclusive learning environments
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly
