Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Special Education teaching certification
• Proven experience designing and implementing IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
• Strong understanding of special education laws, best practices, and instructional strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, service providers, and families
• Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver lesson plans tailored to each students unique educational requirements
• Manage IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation with accuracy and care
• Provide direct instruction and support in individual, small-group, and whole-class settings
• Assess student performance and growth, using data to inform instructional decisions
• Communicate consistently with parents and caregivers to share progress and support strategies
• Collaborate with related service providers (speech, occupational therapy, etc.) as part of an interdisciplinary team
