Requirements:

  • LBS1 certification/license (required)
  • SPED discipline experience, preferably in primary settings
  • Experience as a Special Education Teacher in K-1 self-contained, instructional classrooms
  • Readiness to start as soon as possible
  • Ability to commit to full-time hours (8:20am3:05pm, Monday through Friday)
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to a split K-1 self-contained classroom
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet students individual learning needs
  • Maintain a structured, nurturing classroom environment
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, families, and support staff
  • Monitor and document student progress in accordance with IEPs

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $45.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
