Desired Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license required
• Classroom experience at the elementary, middle, or high school level, especially in a special education setting
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with varying disabilities and learning styles
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Effective classroom management and organization skills
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) according to state and federal guidelines
• Provide direct instruction and differentiated support to meet academic, behavioral, and social goals
• Monitor student progress, document growth, and update IEPs as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure an inclusive and productive learning environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Create an engaging classroom atmosphere that supports student growth and success
