Position Overview
We are urgently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a targeted 1:1 assignment within a Career Tech Education setting in Marshall. This role involves providing dedicated medical support to an 18-year-old student. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in respiratory care and feel completely confident managing specialized medical equipment in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
1:1 Clinical Care: Provide exclusive medical monitoring and support for an 18-year-old student throughout the morning session.
Respiratory Management: Primary responsibility includes professional Trach Care and ensuring all respiratory protocols are followed strictly.
Emergency Preparedness: Maintain readiness to respond to medical issues as they arise, ensuring the student's safety and ability to participate in their tech programs.
Documentation: Keep precise records of medical interventions and student status during school hours.
Schedule & Contract Details
Hours: 20 hours per week.
Daily Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 11:30 AM.
Duration: Immediate start through the end of the current term (June 5, 2026).
Qualifications
Licensure: Must hold an active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Specialized Experience: Must be highly experienced and comfortable with Trach Care. This is a non-negotiable requirement for the safety of the student.
Documentation: Candidates must be prepared to provide a screenshot/verification of their MI license during the application process.
