Job Description

The contract role is located near Maple Grove, MN, and covers the 2026-2027 academic year.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
  • Experience working with Setting 4 populations preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective classroom management techniques for supporting a range of disabilities and behavioral challenges
  • Passion for cultivating positive relationships with students and families
  • Comfort working with students from elementary through high school with intensive needs
  • Resume must be provided for consideration

Your Role Will Include:

  • Creating and delivering instructional plans tailored to each student's learning and behavioral objectives
  • Managing a Setting 4 caseload of students with the highest behavioral and academic support needs
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with families, administrators, and related service professionals
  • Documenting student progress toward IEP goals
  • Utilizing evidence-based strategies and supports within a specialized classroom setting
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education regulations
  • Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
  • Supporting a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
