This contract opportunity offers you the chance to make a real impact as an Emotional Behavior Disorder Center-Based Teacher. Working onsite with elementary students, youll support diverse learners while engaging with unique programming such as Project Lead the Way Launch, fostering a collaborative and hands-on learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching certification (Tier 3 or 4 requiredattach certification and resume to apply)
- Licensure in Special Education
- Experience or strong interest in working with students who have emotional or behavioral disorders
- Passion for inclusive education and differentiated instruction
- Collaborative spirit; comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Effective communication and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
- Support K-5 students in a center-based setting focused on emotional and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and challenges
- Build a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages growth and engagement
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, counselors, and additional support staff in an interdisciplinary team atmosphere
- Utilize research-backed instructional strategies to engage students in mathematics, science, and engineering content
- Foster the social-emotional development of students
