An elementary special education teaching opportunity is available for grades K-5 in the Mansfield, PA area. This contract position focuses on supporting students in a Resource Room setting, providing personalized assistance to approximately 25 students on your caseload. Experience as a case manager is highly valued, adding an important dimension to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support to K-5 students with special education needs.
• Manage and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure student progress.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
• Serve as a case manager, coordinating services and communication for assigned students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment in the Resource Room setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in special education.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children.
• Prior case management experience.
