Qualifications:

• Current and active Special Education Teacher Certification
• Experience or strong interest in working with middle school students

• Ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of middle school students with varying needs, providing individualized instruction and support
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraeducators, and related service staff
• Communicate regularly with families to address student progress and challenges
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings and other required activities
