A rewarding opportunity is available for New Hampshire-licensed Special Education Teachers to work with students across grades K12 for the remainder of the current school year, with potential to extend through the 2026/2027 school year. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher license (required)
- Experience working with students in grades K5, 68, and/or 912
- Strong understanding of IEPs, differentiated instruction, and specialized teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for partnering with staff, families, and administrators
- Proven ability to adapt lesson plans to accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities
- Previous classroom or resource room experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Modify curriculum and use targeted interventions to support academic and social-emotional success
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that encourages student participation
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting
- Communicate regularly with families and involve them in student planning and goal setting
