This position offers an opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher serving middle and high school students within a K-12 setting. The role is designed to provide essential support through a contract covering the current school year, focused on delivering specialized educational services aligned with individual student needs.

Location:

• Manchester, NH area
• Onsite work required; no remote options available

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to middle and high school students with varying disabilities
• Adapt curricula and tailor teaching strategies to meet diverse learning requirements
• Collaborate with educational teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district policies
• Communicate regularly with families and staff to support student development and address concerns
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth

Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire Special Education (SPED) teaching license is mandatory
• Experience working with middle and high school populations within special education settings
• Knowledge of current special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student-centered learning and collaboration

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
