Job Description

This position is for a Special Education Teacher serving middle and high school students within a K-12 setting in Manchester, NH. The role is a contract assignment running from December 15, 2025, through June 16, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek. The position requires onsite presence only, supporting an established school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to students with diverse learning needs in middle and high school.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize educational outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and school personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and school policies related to special education services.

Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire Special Education License is required.
  • Experience working with middle and high school students in a special education setting.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work onsite full time and engage professionally with school staff.
