Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state-required)
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Familiarity with creating and adapting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, guardians, and faculty
• Previous experience in a school setting or with students with disabilities is highly preferred
• Knowledge of instructional strategies for mild to moderate disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring academic goals are met for each student
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student achievement
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and required trainings
• Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
