Step into a rewarding part-time contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher near Lynnwood, WA. This in-person position extends from now through June 12, 2026, offering a unique chance to make a significant impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs. The position is half-time (.5 FTE), with flexible scheduling still being finalized. Initially, the focus will be on supporting one student for a few hours one day a week, with the remainder of your time dedicated to providing additional support to other special education classrooms. The central aim is to gradually increase direct support and foster ongoing student success and inclusion.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Washington Special Education (SPED) teaching license and full certification
• Experience working with students in special education settings
• Strong ability to adapt to evolving caseload and scheduling needs

• Skilled at collaborating with education professionals and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instructional support to a designated student, gradually increasing their on-campus time
• Deliver direct services across additional special education classrooms as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement appropriate goals and accommodations
• Keep thorough records of student progress and communicate regularly with team members
• Adapt instructional approaches to meet diverse learner needs
