A Massachusetts Certified Special Education Teacher position is available for an elementary grade level role in a public school located in the Lynn, MA area. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 16, 2026, providing an engaging work schedule of 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, totaling 32.5 hours per week (full-time equivalent).
This role involves delivering both inclusion support and pull-out instruction to elementary students, focusing on individualized education plans within a general education setting. It is ideal for educators passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments and supporting diverse learner needs.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Ability to provide both in-class inclusion support and targeted pull-out instruction
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with general education teachers and support staff
Location: Lynn, Massachusetts area school
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction that meets the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with the broader educational team to support inclusive classroom environments
- Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and administration
