Job Description
This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a Massachusetts Certified Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a public school setting. The role combines both inclusion support and pull-out instruction, allowing for a varied and impactful teaching experience.
Location:
- North Billerica, MA
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students within a general education setting.
- Provide both inclusive classroom support and targeted pull-out sessions tailored to students' individual needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to create effective learning plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with elementary grade students, preferably in a public school environment.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
Schedule:
- Contract position from ASAP through June 16, 2026.
- Monday through Friday, 6.5-hour school day for a total of 32.5 hours per week.
