Qualifications:

  • Current MA Special Education (SPED) license required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in various special education settings is preferred
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for teaming with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Create an inclusive, nurturing classroom that fosters growth and academic achievement
  • Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications aligned with students identified goals
  • Collect data and monitor progress to inform instructional decisions
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators to ensure student success
  • Engage regularly with families, offering updates and support

This is a full-time contract role, with 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You will play a vital part in shaping students educational journeys, whether in a high school inclusion class, an autism sub-separate program, or a resource room.
