An educational opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to provide support to K-12 students in a school setting located in Methuen, MA. This contract role offers a full-time schedule, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving various special education programs and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' individual education plans (IEPs) within resource rooms, autism programs, and inclusive classrooms.
• Manage a caseload of students across K-12 grade levels, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning requirements.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) license required.
• Experience working with K-12 students with varying disabilities, including autism and other special needs.
• Ability to work in different program settings, such as inclusion classrooms and resource rooms.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Openings: 7 positions including high school inclusion teacher, sub-separate autism program teacher, lower school resource room teacher, and general resource room teacher.
