Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas Special Education (SPED) Teaching License
• Previous experience with learning disabilities, severe autism, and high-need student populations
• Knowledge of best practices in differentiated instruction, classroom management, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with colleagues, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction in a self-contained classroom
• Foster a supportive learning environment tailored to students unique strengths and needs
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting lesson plans for different learning styles
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and support staff to ensure holistic support for students
