Special Education Teachers Massachusetts (Contract)

Seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to support diverse K-12 classrooms in schools throughout Massachusetts. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with varied caseloads, providing tailored instruction and support to students with special needs in multiple educational settings. Assignments are available in Lowell, MA, as well as other locations across the state.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students based on their unique learning goals and needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to create inclusive classroom environments
  • Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learners
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student performance and goals

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License required
  • Experience working with K-12 students across a range of disabilities and classroom settings
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Ability to manage varied caseloads effectively and provide individualized support
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
