A Massachusetts Certified Special Education Teacher is sought for an elementary-level position in a public school near Lowell, MA. This full-time contract role runs from ASAP through June 16, 2026, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule of 6.5 hours per day, totaling 32.5 hours per week. The position involves providing both inclusion support and pull-out instruction to students requiring special education services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver inclusive classroom support tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide targeted pull-out instruction to enhance individual student progress.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts certification in Special Education.
- Experience teaching elementary grade levels preferred.
